I'm doing BE in Information science in VTU., Got through Optional Subject's., and there is no Subjects related to my major( Information Science or Computer Science)..
Well., is there be any way around it?? and Do people ever going to add CS r IS related Subjects in the Optional Subjects??
Hi, Even i've done B.E., from info science...but then,thr r no subjects related to software for sure...i personally think it wont be added aswell... Instead, u can take up subjects like physics,chemistry or maths wch v have studied...
@subbu sandeep, No,% or marks doesn't count.Only condition is person should have completed graduation. Whether you failed in few subjects or anything doesn't matter, but Finally you should have graduated thats it.
Hi Ashwini mam, I have completed B.E. in mechanical. Can I select any other subject in whic i'm interested in as optional,or i have to select only mechanical?
Thanks for initiating useful forum. I am working in a private organisation abroad and have been recently thinking about doing KAS.My main worry is about age limit. My 35th birthday will be on 1st June 2016. Do you think I would still have chance to write KAS prelims in 2016 if the exams are scheduled before my birth date. Please suggest.
@Santosh, i am just copy pasting the below lines from Notification of this year... "Every candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and not attained the age of 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of application or on such other date as may be specified by the Government."
Also you will be able to claim age relaxation incase u r an obc candidate or sc st... pls do read the notification of this year to c if you can claim any of it.

me too, done BE CS, otping for Physics and History as optionals
i have done my graduation from RGUHS bangalore
but have made 5 attempt's to clear in final year
