What is relevant in News Paper from Exam point of View?

In the beginning we do not know what exactly will asked from the news paper and many of us ignore to read news paper thinking only crime news or else some political hungama will be there, To be very frank i hardly used to take 2 to 3mins to finish reading a news paper. But after i started preparing for the exam i understood that its very important to read a good news paper like The Hindu and in kannada Prajavani.
